Panchayat Season 4 Plot Explained: The director of Panchayat, Deepak Kumar Mishra, made a significant statement about Season 4 of the popular series in an interview with Press Trust of India. He also cited in his interview that most of season 4 of Panchayat will be aired on Amazon Prime Video in the year 2026 as the episodes have been written but just waiting for the audience’s reactions.
Since streaming platforms frequently wait to approve new seasons of series before giving the go-ahead, many television programmes in the streaming era have long breaks between seasons.
On the other hand, Mishra disclosed during the interview that “three to four episodes” of Season 4 have already been written:

The director’s declaration did not end the news regarding the show’s future, however, as he also disclosed that Season 5 is presently in the planning stages, with he and the crew having “a broader idea” of what will happen in that installment:
“So far, we have thought about making seasons four and five. For season four, we have a clear idea, and there is a broader idea for season five.”

When will Season 4 of Panchayat will be Released?
It’s hard to say for sure when Panchayat Season 4 will air because Season 3 was just released.
Though the first three seasons of the show have maintained a similar release schedule since its 2020 premiere, it’s probable that Season 4 may do the same.
In March 2020, Season 1 became available on Amazon Prime Video. Season 2 debuted in May 2022, a little more than two years later, and Season 3 debuted in May 2024.
It would make sense for Season 4 to debut in about two years, which would suggest it would be accessible for streaming somewhere in the first half of 2026, given that the previous three seasons have all been published about two years apart.
But it’s crucial to keep in mind that productions take time, and delays might happen at any time and have an impact on the release timeframe.
